DEPS is pleased to announce the Advanced High-Power Laser Review, where previously separate events have joined together to better share ideas. This first Advanced High-Power Lasers Review consists of co-located technical sessions organized by three separate conferences, with joint technical and plenary sessions to encourage discussion outside narrow technical limits.
Registrants can attend any session of the conference for just one registration fee. Some portions of the conference will be conducted at the classified level, and even some unclassified sessions will be limited participation. Registrants will be required to meet the attendance criteria to attend these sessions. There will be a public release joint plenary session available to all attendees of the Conference. Directions to the hotel are available through its web page. A block of rooms at government rates for all attendees has been reserved at the Omni Interlocken. To take advantage of these rates, call the hotel at 303 438-6600 and mention that you are attending this DEPS event. The hotel has a 48-hour cancellation policy. The Omni and the off-site location for the classified meetings are not within walking distance. A shuttle bus will be available for travel between venues. Our full meal option includes all meals that are provided for regular attendees including any evening and specialty functions that may be planned. For those companions who do not want to be tied to scheduled meal functions, we also offer an evening meal option. This option, which includes only the evening and specialty event functions, allows companions access to the "fun" portions of our events. Companion meal tickets can be purchased as part of your event registration (below) or you may purchase one separately at the DEPS registration desk, opening from 1500-1900 on Monday, 14 June at the Omni. Upon arrival, those checking the "companion information needed" box on the registration will be provided a welcome packet with information on local points of interest. To assist companions in making plans for their stay, an onsite specialist will meet with interested parties on the first day of the meeting, providing access, individually or as a group, to local attractions and/or tours.
*Note: Full time students will be admitted at no fee provided they (1) agree to work for two sessions operating computers for the presenters, or (2) are making a presentation. If these conditions are not met, students will be required to pay the full registration fee.
