Directed Energy Outreach
The Directed Energy Outreach Campaign has been successfully educating
decision makers and warfighters on RF and laser directed energy weapons technologies and capabilities since January 2009.
The campaign is displaying and educating in Washington DC the last week of March 2012 sponsored by the DEPS.
Government and industry across the United States will be exhibiting mature directed energy hardware at the Rayburn
House Office Building and at the Pentagon. The newly formed DE Caucus,
co-chaired by Representative Martin Heinrich (D-NM) and Representative Doug Lamborn (R-CO), is our host at the capital.
HEL-JTO is our host at the Pentagon.
DEPS will be registering your participation in this historic event within the next few weeks.
You will have the opportunity to exhibit at the Rayburn House Office Building on 27 March; exhibit space is limited and
will be distributed on a first come first serve basis. Posters will also be accepted. There will be a reception with
posters from 1600-1800 on the evening of 27 March.
Exhibits, posters, and hardware will be on exhibit at the Pentagon.
The date of 29 March has been reserved and exhibits are planned from 9 am to 2 pm; however, permits still need to be worked.
Exhibit Options & Fees
Rayburn House Office Building Atrium Exhibition, Tuesday, 27 March 1200-1500
- DEPS Sponsors: $1500; Others: $1700
- Includes 8x10 space, table, two chairs, and two attendees (electricity may be requested)
- Participation in Rayburn House Reception also included for two attendees.
- Set up begins at 1100 and tear down immediately following.
Rayburn House Office Building Reception, Tuesday, 27 March 1600-1800
- DEPS Sponsors: $750; Others: $850
- Includes 2x2 poster space and two attendees
- Posting of material beginning 1500
Pentagon Courtyard Exhibit, Thursday, 29 March 0900-1400
- DEPS Sponsors: $1500; Others: $1700
- Includes 10x10 space, table, two chairs, and two attendees (electricity may be requested)
- Setup begins promptly at 1000 March 28th and tear down immediately following.
