Annual DE Symposium Exhibits and Event Hosting
17-21 November 2008 Honolulu, Hawaii

The 11th Annual Directed Energy Symposium, to be held in Honolulu, Hawaii on 17-21 November 2008, will provide an opportunity for your organization to exhibit and/or host a catered event. This page describes these opportunities and provides details on submitting an application.

Note: All exhibit spaces have been filled. If you would like to be placed on a waiting list for any possible cancellations, please contact Cynnamon Spain at cynnamon@deps.org or 505-998-4910. You might also accomplish some of your exhibit goals by hosting a catered event (see below).

If you are already an exhibitor and would like to provide additional information, or add or upgrade an exhibit staffer, please use this form. Please note that pre-registration of exhibit staff has ended. You may register your staff onsite beginning Sunday 16 November. On-site registration will be possible online starting at midnight Saturday, 15 November and the DEPS registration desk will open from 1500-1900 on Sunday.

Commercial, academic, and government exhibits will be an integral part of the Annual Symposium. Eight by ten foot exhibit spaces, issued on a first-come first served basis, are available for $2,200 ($1,800 for DEPS Sponsors) and include a 6 foot table, two chairs, and trash can. Note: electricity is not included with these exhibit spaces. However, electricity and other services will be obtainable from our convention services firm. Exhibit fees also include two complimentary registrations per exhibit space: one full conference registration and one exhibit-only registration. Exhibit-only registrations include all catering, from breaks to receptions, but do not include attendance at any technical or plenary sessions, proceedings or other benefits of attendance, such as tours.

The complimentary exhibit-only registration can be upgraded to a full event registration for a cost of $500. Additional exhibit-only registrations can be purchased according to the fee matrix to the right, which covers the costs of catering for the event.

Event Hosts

Due to the time required for printing of host recognition material, applications to host a catered event at the Directed Energy Systems Symposium are no longer being accepted.


Hospitality Suites

Hospitality suites are reserved for entire event (November 17-21). Suites are one-bedroom, large ocean view suites that have been newly remodeled (furniture can be removed as needed). There are 5 suites available to be reserved at a rate of $2000 for the duration. Please contact Cynnamon Spain at cynnamon@deps.org or 505-998-4910 for further information. Please note: due to the limited meeting space at the conference hotel, only these hospitality suites will be available for independent marketing activities.
