Fees & Registration With the enhanced role for Free Electron Lasers for DoD Directed Energy applications, a Free Electron Lasers Conference is being co-located with the Ultrashort Pulse Laser Workshop and the Solid State and Diode Laser Technology Review (SSDLTR) as part of the Advanced High-Power Lasers Review. The goals for this Conference include providing a unique opportunity to present and discuss military FEL technology, science and applications, and for this community to interact with leading scientists working in the broader range of non-DoD FEL science and technology. Accordingly, the Workshop contains sessions at Public Release, Limited Distribution, and Classified levels.
Enhancing FEL performance to the levels desired by DoD will benefit both the military and the broader research and industrial communities. This Conference will provide a unique opportunity for all three of these groups to come together. Registrants who meet the participation criteria Advanced High-Power Lasers Meeting will be able to attend sessions of all three meetings for a single registration fee. There will be a public release joint technical session available to all attendees of the Advanced High-Power Lasers meeting. Highlights
An overview of the FEL Conference agenda is presented below. Other aspects of the Advanced High Power Laser Review program, such as short course, are shown on the AHPL agenda. The detailed agenda, including specific sessions, is available here in PDF form. Changes to the agenda are posted here when known. Call for Papers Contributions are solicited for presentation at the Free Electron Lasers Conference in the topic areas below.
Presentations addressing other technical areas related to high-power FELs will also be considered. The Conference Program Committee will select presentations for inclusion in the technical program based on submitted abstract. Authors are encouraged to submit papers as well as presentations.
