High Energy Laser Lethality Conference 2006
20-24 March 2006 Monterey, California

Co-Hosted by the
US Air Force Research Laboratory
and
High Energy Laser Joint Technology Office

In Cooperation with the
High Energy Laser Lethality Technical Area Working Group

The Third HEL Lethality Conference assembled scientists and engineers interested in High Energy Laser (HEL) weapon lethality. The HEL Lethality Conference objective was: (1) to use the forum as a means to inform the HEL community and potential HEL Weapons implementers of the latest findings regarding lethality work, and (2) to continue to cultivate synergism between the HEL Beam Control, and the DE M&S communities to effectively transition Directed Energy Weapons Lethality to the warfighter.

The HEL Lethality Conference was part of the Directed Energy Systems Symposium and was conducted in parallel with the Beam Control Conference, the Directed Energy Modeling and Simulation Conference, and the Employment of Directed Energy Weapons Conference. Although there were some joint technical sessions between the conferences, each conference in the Symposium was conducted separately and each conference published their proceedings. The final detailed Symposium Program is available for download. The free Adobe Reader is required to view and print the flyer.
