The Solid State and Diode Laser Technology Review (SSDLTR) provides a
meeting place for the sharing of ideas, fostering interaction and showing technology leading to
the development of high-efficiency, high brightness solid state laser systems.
In the fifteenth year, SSDLTR's research focus included:
- Mid and near infrared diode laser systems
- Fiber laser systems and technology
- Solid state laser systems
- Beam combination, specifically of fiber and diode laser systems
- Nonlinear optics, especially frequency conversion front-ends to high power laser systems
- Beam Control, thermal management, packaging, ruggedization and other systems issues
This conference drew about 225 attendees to the meeting in the Sheraton Old Town Hotel in
Albuquerque. The schedule for this past event is provided here
