Education is vital to the Directed Energy community, and providing trainng for teachers and counselors is an important part of the DEPS mission. Associated with the fifth in a series of Directed Energy Education Workshops, this Workshop provides career and program training and guidance to K-12 and TV faculty. This Workshop was co-located with the technical program of the Eighth Annual Directed Energy Symposium, held in Lihue, Hawaii on 14-18 November 2005. This meeting was supported by a grant from the High Energy Laser Joint Technology Office, and was jointly sponsored by DEPS and Kauai Community College.
