Compact Design and Environmental Stability Assessments for Pulse Compression Cavities
Time reversal pulse compression is proposed for use in HPM systems but requires large and heavy reverberant cavities at low frequencies. In this work, cavity volume optimization methods and environmental stability are investigated for use in the design of deployable TRPC-based HPM systems.
This work is supported by the Office of Naval Research under Contract #N00014-21-C-1049.
Additional funding is provided by DEPS via the 2024-25 DE Graduate Research Grant.
