Laser power beaming to UAS
We have advanced laser power-beaming technology to a readiness level suitable for Group 2 UAS and are preparing for integrated field flight testing in Q1 2026. The ground-based laser transmitter and UAV-mounted power receiver are engineered for continuous 24/7 outdoor operation, including in all weather conditions permissible for UAS flight, including light rain. This end-to-end capability enables multiple concepts of operation (CONOPs), each driving specific performance requirements. System parameters – including power level, maximum range, and operational features – align with these CONOPs and define the initial product configuration.
