DE System Test on an Aircraft Carrier

Commander, Naval Air Force Atlantic conducted an at sea evaluation of a containerized directed energy system aboard a NIMITZ class aircraft carrier. The demonstration assessed the system’s ability to counter unmanned aerial threats. This brief will discuss the results of those testing activities.
