The leadership of the Directed Energy Professional Society (DEPS) is guided by a dedicated group of professionals who provide strategic direction, technical insight, and continuity for the organization. The Board of Directors oversees DEPS operations and governance, while the Board of Scientific and Engineering Advisors offers expert guidance on technical and professional matters. In addition, Directors Emeritus continue to support DEPS through their long-standing commitment and institutional knowledge. Together, these groups help ensure the society’s mission and values are carried forward effectively.
BOARD OF DIRECTORS
The Board of Directors oversees the operations of the Directed Energy Professional Society (DEPS), a nonprofit corporation. The Board is composed of nine Directors, with three Directors elected each year to serve staggered three-year terms. Nonvoting members include appointed Service Liaisons and the DEPS Executive Director. BOARD OF SCIENTIFIC AND ENGINEERING ADVISORS
The DEPS Board of Scientific and Engineering Advisors (BSEA) is a select group of senior, highly respected experts from the Directed Energy community. Appointed by the DEPS Board of Directors from among the DEPS Fellows, the BSEA supports the Board in various task, such as evaluating graduate scholarship applicants, recommending candidates for DEPS Fellow, and providing guidance on significant technical, management, or policy issues when requested. BSEA members serve three-year terms.
